01About us
This website is operated by JAHRA Luxury Furniture Ltd, with its showroom at 1 Ropewalk Gardens, London E1 1PJ. You can contact us on 020 0027 9560 or hello@jahra.co.uk. These terms apply to every order placed on this website, by phone or in our showroom.
02Your order
Your order is accepted when you place it and receive our order confirmation email. We accept every order; after acceptance we confirm your delivery (and fitting) date with you.
Please check sizes, colours, finishes and quantities carefully before ordering. Made-to-order products are produced to the specification you select.
03Prices and payment
All prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT at the current UK rate. Any delivery or fitting charge is shown before you pay.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We accept major debit and credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna and Clearpay (where available). JAHRA never sees or stores your full card details. Klarna and Clearpay are subject to their own terms and credit checks.
If a price is clearly wrong due to an error, we will contact you before processing the order and you may cancel for a full refund.
04Made-to-order products
Many products are made to order. You will receive an estimated delivery date when you order, followed by a further email with a more accurate date as production progresses. Estimated dates are not guaranteed. If we cannot deliver within 30 days of the estimated date, you may cancel and receive a full refund.
05Delivery and fitting
We deliver to the room of your choice across the UK mainland, and fit where fitting is part of your order. Please make sure someone aged 18 or over is present.
You are responsible for checking that products will fit through doors, stairways, hallways and lifts, and for telling us about parking or access restrictions. If we cannot deliver because of access we were not told about, or nobody is home, a redelivery charge may apply.
Risk passes to you on delivery; ownership passes once we have received full payment. More detail is on our Delivery & Fitting page.
06Cancellations, returns and faults
Your rights to cancel, return goods and claim for faulty items are set out in our Returns & Warranty Policy. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
07Product appearance
We show products as accurately as possible, but natural materials such as wood, marble-effect finishes, leather and wool vary, and screen colours can differ from real life. Small variations in grain, tone and dimensions (typically within 2–3 cm) are not a fault. We recommend visiting our showroom or requesting samples.
08Our liability
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss that is not foreseeable, or for business losses. We do not exclude liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
09Trade and business customers
Orders placed by businesses (for example hotels, offices and interior designers) may be subject to a separate written quotation, which will take priority over these terms where they differ. Consumer cancellation rights do not apply to business purchases.
10Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you have a complaint, please contact us first and we will do our best to resolve it. You may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or in Scotland or Northern Ireland if you live there.
